Only dogs considered to be well socialized, who enjoy the company of other dogs and people, are suitable for joining House Of Hounds. Please be aware that not all dogs are suitable and it will be decided at our meet and greet.
All dogs will be interviewed along with their owners and dogs with behavior or aggression issues will not be accepted.
Puppies from 8 weeks are welcome – please discuss this with your vet.
House Of Hounds reserves the right to refuse, or terminate the contract of any dog or owner who displays aggressive, destructive or unreasonable behavior.
Dogs are required to have up to date (3 year - as directed by the UK, Australian & US Vet Associations) vaccinations for Rabies, Parvo and Distemper, and relevant paperwork must be provided.
No dog who has had the Kennel Cough vaccination (Bortedella) will be permitted within 8 weeks of vaccination due to the risk of passing on illness to other dogs.
All dogs accepted require to be wormed and de-ﬂead/de-ticked regularly - either naturally or through medication. If worms or parasites are detected your dog may be refused daycare until issue is rectified.
Female dogs who come into season will not be able to attend Doggie Daycare for the duration of their season (2 – 3 weeks).
Written consent is required for any external activity for your dog - trips to the vet, pick up or drop off, visits, approved pickup person other than owner.
In the unlikely event of your dog being involved in an accident or in an emergency, House Of Hounds will take your dog to your preferred vet listed on your registration form.
Be aware, there are many communicable illnesses that can be shared between dogs, we will do our best to ensure this does not occur and we will ensure full communication with our customers. This is no cause for concern but should be considered when sending your dog to daycare.
Payment for one time visitors is required on or before drop off of your dog to House Of Hounds.
Those dogs who have a regular schedule with us will be invoiced post weekly or monthly based on the agreement made with the owner.
At our discretion, new dogs to House of Hounds may be invoiced in advance – payment is due on receipt of invoice.
If no payment is received House Of Hounds reserve the right to refuse your dog and will contact you to inform you of this.
Emergencies In the unlikely event of your dog being involved in an accident or in an emergency, House Of Hounds will take your dog to your preferred vet listed on your registration form. You will be contacted immediately. It is at the discretion of House Of Hounds to determine if a vets trip required.
